You can use Shopify’s collection feature to control which events appear in the Servv event widget on your product page. Follow these steps to decide which events to show or hide using collections:
Step 1: Create or Select a Shopify Collection
In your Shopify admin, go to Products > Collections.
Click Create collection to make a new one, or select an existing collection if you want to use it for events.
Give the collection a name (e.g., "Featured Events" or "Seasonal Events").
You can add conditions to automate which products (or events) are included, or you can manually add events/products.
Once the collection is set up, click Save.
Step 2: Add Events to the Collection
Still in the Collections section, click on the collection you just created or selected.
Scroll to the Products section and click Browse to manually add products or events.
Choose your events from the list and click Add.
Step 3: Customize Your Theme Settings
Go to your Shopify admin and navigate to Online Store > Themes.
Find your current theme and click Customize.
In the theme editor, select Home Page or page where Event widget is displayed from the dropdown menu to customize that page’s settings.
In the left panel, scroll down to the Servv App section and click on it.
Step 4: Select Which Collections to Display in the Event Widget
Inside the Servv App section, you will see an option to Select Collections as shown in screenshot below:
Click this option and check the collections you want to display in the Servv event widget.
Once you’ve selected the desired collections, click Save in the theme editor to apply the changes.
Step 5: Preview the Changes
To ensure everything looks correct, preview your product page by going to your Shopify store’s frontend or page where the event widget is displayed
Check the Servv event widget on the product page to verify that the correct events are showing based on your selected collections.
