Pre-requisites:
This will work for all email accounts support by Google.
This feature support Google Workspace (GSuite) emails for your businesses.
Instructions:
Log into the shopify store and go to the Servv App
Go to integrations tab in the Servv app then click mail
Connect your google account and accept the permissions.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please ensure that you select the checkbox for the 'Send email on your behalf' field
Make sure your Service provider is set to “Gmail” if not already.
Troubleshooting:
Emails not working for Online Event or Webinar
For online events, please note that Zoom Paid account is used.
For online webinars, please ensure that Webinar add-on is enabled for the connected Zoom account.
Emails not working due to unsuccessful registration
All Shopify orders must be successful for the registration to occur. You can check the Shopify order to ensure the payment went through successfully and the order was processed. You can also open the Servv event and check if the user's email appears in the registration section, confirming their registration for the event. For online events, you can also check Zoom to confirm that the user is registered for the event there as well.
Emails not working after successful registration
When you connected your Gmail account, it is important that the checkbox to send emails on your behalf was selected, as shown in the screenshots above. If this was not selected, you can uninstall the Servv app association from your Gmail account and reconnect it. Emails not working for Organization Account
If OAuth is set up correctly but notifications are still not being sent, please check your Google Workspace policy to ensure there are no conflicts. If a conflict exists, please move the connected Gmail account to an organization that allows apps to send emails.
Emails are going in SPAM folder
If the user has not received any emails from your store, please check that the registration was successful. You can review the 'Sent' folder to confirm that the email was sent to the customer. You can also ask the customer to check their spam folder
